Digital Underground released the single “Same Song” in 1991. It was featured in the Movie soundtrack for “Nothing But Trouble” starring Dan Akroyd, Chevy Chase, Demi Moore, John Candy and others. The single was also featured on Digital Underground’s sophomore offering “This Is An E.P. Release”. More importantly, this was the song that introduced Tupac Shakur to the world. An unknown member of the group at the time, Tupac burst onto the music scene and made his film debut as Digital Underground had a cameo appearance in the movie performing the hit.
