Cuts For Luck And Scars For Freedom is Mystic’s GRAMMY-nominated debut album and was
initially released in 2001 after she was already established as a member of Digital Underground
in the 90s. With production on the album handled by her DU Family, A-Plus from Hieroglyphics,
and more, this now classic album was finally released by Mystic digitally worldwide for the first
time in 2021 to celebrate its 20 th Anniversary. These richly colored shirts are the first time Mystic
has created merchandise with the album artwork, which was conceived initially as a tattoo. With
the depiction of Mystic standing in the middle of a street with angel wings made of clouds and
holding the hand of a child, her love for our collective children and communities in a mad world
is memorialized as artwork that you can now rock to represent hip hop history, the DU Goddess,
and the DU Family.
